New pin field type: Dropdown (single and multi-select)

As a user, I would like to be able to use a new user-defined pin field of the "Dropdown" type, in which I can select predefined values either as a single selection (Single Select) or multiple selection (Multi Select) in the pin. The selection should be made via a drop-down menu so that structured entries are possible - for example for states, categories or responsibilities. In addition, I would like to be able to filter according to these selection values later on in order to be able to evaluate or process pins efficiently.

As a user, I would like to be able to use a user-defined pin field of the "checkbox" type, with which I can check off individual points directly in the pin. This allows simple yes/no statuses or completed test steps to be documented quickly and clearly - for example: ☐ Building status recorded ☑ Advance performance checked The visual representation as a checkbox makes the status recognizable at a glance and improves traceability in the course of the project.

Filter option for pins without tasks, tags, datasets or photos

As a user, I would like to be able to filter all pins in the web app that do not contain any tasks, tags, datasets or photos to make it easier to identify incompletely edited pins. Currently, this is only possible using complex filter combinations or manual checking, which is time-consuming and error-prone. A simple filter option for "not available" would be particularly helpful - for example for quality assurance purposes after an inspection or to check the completeness of a project (e.g. have all pins been assigned correctly?).

Role-based restriction for uploading report templates

As an organization, I want to prevent all admins from uploading report templates so that I can control uploads without restricting general project access. --- Requirements Permissions for uploading report templates should be separately configurable on a role basis. Admins should still have full access to projects and license management without upload rights for templates. --- Benefit Finer control of admin rights to maintain the quality and consistency of report templates.

In future, datasets should also be part of the pin fields depending on the pin category, so that not every pin displays all datasets of the project (in practice, this can be very many and irrelevant).

Standardized filter system for web & mobile apps

We are completely overhauling the complex filter system in docu tools - based on user feedback and current best practices. The goal is a clearly understandable, consistent and powerful filter experience on all platforms (web, iOS, Android). What will be improved: Standardized filter logic for pins, tasks, media, reports and groups Clearer operation Support for common use cases More compact, clearer display of filters Filters remain active when required (so-called "persistent filters") and can be tracked at any time What users can expect: A modern, standardized filter system that enables reliable evaluations even for large projects - whether on the desktop or mobile on the construction site.

Do not close tasks on your cell phone immediately

Dear Sir or Madam. I am currently doing defect inspections and creating many tasks on my cell phone. I have to scroll over the tasks in the pins several times. The tasks are assigned to subcontractors. If I just scroll over the task, it has happened to me several times that I have closed the tasks. I'm not sure if I always noticed it and opened them again. Select and display participants in the report

As a user, I would like to be able to select which members or contacts took part in the meeting when creating a report - and who should receive the report by email. For this purpose, a placeholder system is proposed that automatically generates a structured table in the report - e.g. with {{attendees}}, {{attendee-present}} and {{attendee-sent}}. In the report creation dialog, it should be possible to differentiate between actual attendance and sending the report. This makes it possible to clearly document who was on site and who received the report for information purposes.

Description of the request: License management should be expanded to allow better control over users and their access. A key requirement is the ability to remove users who have left the company or no longer require access. Functional requirements: Ability to remove or deactivate users from license management Clear overview of who currently has access, with role and activity status Optional: Filter or mark inactive accounts Example scenario: A project administrator wants to remove former employees from the system in order to release licenses and maintain an overview. Currently, this is only possible to a limited extent or not at all, which leads to unnecessary license retention. Copy project - transfer plans and plan folders

Description of the request: When copying a project, it should be possible to copy not only the structure, but also existing plan folders and the plans they contain. Currently, administrators have to create these manually, which is time-consuming and error-prone. Example scenario: Mr. Huber regularly creates structured projects with recurring plan structures. Mr. Müller carries out cyclical inspections and always requires the same plan basis. Mr. Wimmer uses standard plans such as overview and building structure plans in all his projects. License management: Visibility of the e-mail address

As an administrator, I would like to see the email address of each user at first glance in addition to their name and company in the license management, so that I can quickly see whether a user belongs to the internal organization or is registered via an external domain (e.g. subcontractor), without having to open the profile individually each time. --- Requirements The "Email address" column should be visible in the user overview by default - not only after clicking on the user. The e-mail address should be displayed in full (no truncated display). The domain must be recognizable at first glance. The display should remain performant and clear even with many users. --- Example use case Internal employees have different domains - the distinction must be directly visible, e.g. for license allocation, rights assignment or security checks. --- Benefit Increases transparency and efficiency in license management and prevents accidental misassignments or security risks due to external e-mail domains that are not immediately recognizable.

Mass export of plans

Description of the request: At the end of a project or for archiving purposes, users would like to be able to export several or all plans at the same time. Currently, this is only possible individually per plan, which is very time-consuming for larger projects with many plans. Example scenario: A project administrator would like to export all plans with pins and tasks as a PDF or in another format after the project has been completed in order to hand them over to the client or archive them internally. We are fundamentally revising the user settings in the web app to provide more overview, control and security - in line with the new design language of docu tools. New Android tablet app with improved user guidance

The previous Android tablet app is being replaced by a new version that is specially optimized for use on tablets. It is based on the modern smartphone app and offers a clear user experience tailored to large screens. What users can expect: Optimized display and operation for Android tablets Same range of functions as on the smartphone Offline capability thanks to automatic background sync Pins can be called up per plan No project-wide task or pin list (similar to the smartphone app) The new app is ideal for daily documentation on the construction site - clear, stable and can be used offline.

Filter option for datasets on the iPad

As a user, I would also like to be able to filter pins by dataset in the iPad app - both online and offline. The filter function by dataset is available in the web app, but is currently missing on the iPad. In order to be able to work efficiently on the move, it should be possible to filter by specific datasets consistently on all platforms.

iPad: Filter pins by slider values

To be able to filter pins better directly on the construction site, I would like to have a filter option for slider fields on the iPad. I use these, for example, to display urgency or progress (e.g. "approved by client - in progress - 1 QM"). A corresponding filter on site would be very helpful for this.

Revision of user settings on smartphone and tablet

We are currently revising the user settings on smartphones and tablets to offer our users a more modern, clearer and more consistent experience. Our aim is to simplify operation, make important functions more accessible and adapt the design language to the current docu tools standard. Users will be able to change their profile picture directly on mobile devices, use the camera or photos from the app and adjust the image section. The password dialog will also be made more user-friendly. We are also restructuring the content : personal settings are moving to the foreground, while information content is being bundled in a separate menu. The database transfer function has been given clear confirmation steps and success feedback. With these adjustments, we are creating a uniform, intuitive user experience that enables quick decisions and makes working with our mobile applications noticeably easier.
