Detailed user data in license management

Major customers want more detailed insights into user activities within license management. The aim is to gain a targeted overview of user behavior and license usage - e.g. in order to plan capacities better or use licenses more efficiently.

Desired information, for example:

• Last login of a user

• Last activity / last change

• Number of active and inactive users

• Distribution according to roles, subcontractors or projects

Context & company perspective:

This request comes exclusively from large customers with extensive user pools. If required, we already provide individual dashboards for these customers via Grafana.

Important note:

We are cautious about introducing such transparency functions across the board - as they can easily lead to misinterpretations. A purely data-based view of "inactive" users can, for example, lead to premature license terminations, even though these users have no tasks at the moment due to the project phase.
