Android Smartphone Offline-Modus

We are currently developing the offline mode for the Android smartphone app so that users can work in full even without an active internet connection.

In offline mode, it should be possible to open plans, set pins, document content (e.g. using photos and other media), fill in pin fields, create tasks and assign them directly. All this information is stored locally and automatically synchronized with the cloud and thus with the project and the entire project team when the Internet connection is restored.

This is an essential feature for a product that is primarily used on construction sites. Stable internet reception is not guaranteed in basements, remote areas or on construction sites in general. At the same time, a large amount of media data is often generated here, the smooth recording and subsequent synchronization of which is crucial for seamless project documentation.

With this offline mode, we strengthen the app's usability under real construction site conditions and ensure that all relevant information can be reliably recorded and synchronized.
